About Me
During combat, you don’t rise to the level of your expectations.
You fall back to the level of your conditioning and training.
Let’s get spiritually fit and ready for battle.

There’s a target on your back
When I got saved, no one told me about the target on my back.
When I renewed my faith, no one prepared me to fight.
When I got baptized, no one told me about the battles that would take place and continue to take place.
No one told me how to get dressed so that I could follow Jesus.
Fight the Good Fight (1 Timothy 6:12)
The [one] mistake I made as a Christian was thinking that everything would be fine after I got saved. I thought life would be easier.
I honestly thought He would just show up and everything would be fine.
Hard Right vs. Easy Wrong (Matthew 7:13-14)
If you feel that things still aren’t working out, don’t blame God – renew your mind.
Satan’s goal is to wear us down and tired us out.
In his eyes, the best Christian is a “sidelined” Christian.
(ROE) Rules of Engagement (Ephesians 6:10-12)
In this battle, there is no “gray” space or neutral territory.
You are either advancing the kingdom of God or you’re supporting the kingdom of darkness.
Period. That’s it.
If you’re not going against the world, then you are going in the direction of the world.
If you’re not a target for the enemy, then maybe you’re on the same team.
If you’ve never seen adversity or opposition then maybe the enemy doesn’t consider you a threat.
However, if you’re feeling blessed don’t go looking for a fight.
Battle for this World (John 16:33)
The truth is this. God is neither for us or against us. He expects us to choose His side and His will, and align our life accordingly.

Equipping the Body (Ephesians 4:12-14)
I’ve spent 20+ years of my life in the military equipping Soldiers. From office supplies and rations to military gear and weapon systems. Without the right equipment you’re setting yourself up for failure. It doesn’t matter if it’s stateside training, combat operations, or daily struggles – if you’re not equipped to fight, you’re putting yourself, others, and the mission (your life) in danger.
Soldiers from each branch of the military are equipped to train and equipped to fight. Basic training, day one, you get your gear. Unit of assignment, day one, you get your gear. Deploying for combat, one of the first things you do is get your gear.
As a believer, when you wake up in the morning, what’s the first thing you do?
Before you leave your home, what’s the first thing you do?
Take captive every thought (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)
“There is no neutral ground in the universe; every square inch, every split second, is claimed by God and counter-claimed by Satan.”
