Our faith is challenged.
And we have a hard time believing.
Welcome to the Armor of God.
Welcome to the battlefields. Welcome to spiritual warfare.
Welcome to the invasion of Jesus Christ.
Listen up Soldier. Go get your gear. Get dressed. It’s time to fight!
If you have ever gone through any circumstance that might have caused you to default to worldly opinions and ways,
question whether you can trust God, or think to yourself if He is even real…then it’s time to get dressed.
This Christian life is combat. The world is a battleground. The devil is the enemy.
Our sin makes us susceptible.
But God! – has provided battle-tested armor and Christ has given us the victory.
The love of God is a simple message the enemy aggressively pursues and wants to destroy.
His #1 mission is to keep you from experiencing God’s love. Satan is 100% committed to preventing you from knowing and trusting Jesus. That’s his soul purpose – pun intended.
I’m James Jones.
I’m not a pastor, preacher, elder, or deacon. I haven’t been to seminary and I don’t have a degree in theology or biblical studies. I mention that because the enemy used what I’m not and what I didn’t have to prevent me creating this program. He asked me, “Who is going to listen to you?” Then proceeded to rattle off what I wasn’t and didn’t have.
The enemy pointed out the fact that I didn’t have a position in the church or letters behind my name. Although true, worldly standards prevented me from getting to where God wanted me to be. If the enemy can get you to look at yourself – your shortcomings, capabilities, and limitations then you’re not focusing on the Cross.
It’s what you can do, not what you can’t do.
It’s what you do know, not what you don’t know.
It’s what you do have, not what you don’t have.
Give that, those, and it to Jesus and He will multiply the fruit in your life. A leap of faith begins with a first step.
Trust me. I get it.
Life is a battle and just like physical war:
So why are we doing that with our lives everyday? We’re ill-equipped, not trained, and isolated. And because of that, we – are – losing ground to the enemy.
It’s time to change that!
That’s what I’m here for.
During combat you don’t rise to the level of your expectations, you fall back to the level of your conditioning and training.
Get Spiritually Fit, Ready for Battle
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
